The Foundations Macro Audit is free. How it works

How we start

The Foundations Macro Audit

Find out where your HCP engagement needs work. We assess your five foundations through interviews with your team, then provide a scored report with recommendations and a market comparison. The audit is free.

What you get

What your audit report includes

01

A score per foundation

An assessment of your data and analytics, segmentation, engagement journeys, measurement frameworks and operating models.

02

Practical first steps

Changes to consider with your existing team and resources.

03

Larger changes to plan

The work that needs a broader programme and the priorities to agree.

04

A market comparison

How your approach compares with the practices we see in the market, with an explanation of the scores and the gaps to address.

How it works

From the first call to the report

01  Scope
We spend 30 minutes discussing your priorities and agreeing which functions should take part.
02  Interviews
Three to five one-hour interviews across commercial, medical, digital and data functions. You choose the participants.
03  Analysis
We assess each foundation, compare your approach with the practices we see in the market and prioritise the findings.
04  Report and debrief
Two weeks after the last interview, we deliver the scored report and spend an hour discussing it with you.

Cost and time commitment

The audit is free

Your team takes part in the scoping call, three to five one-hour interviews and a one-hour debrief. We cover the analysis and report. The audit gives you an outside assessment and helps us understand whether there is further work we could usefully do together.

What happens after

You decide what to do next

The report is yours to use internally, with your existing partners or with us. There is no obligation to continue with Fractal Force. If you need a more detailed assessment, the paid Foundation Fitness Audit can examine the priority areas before you commit to a larger programme. We agree its scope and fixed fee separately.

Questions about working with us

Questions about the audit

Who is it for?
Leaders responsible for customer engagement at global, regional, affiliate or franchise level who want an outside assessment before deciding what to change. Involving commercial, medical, digital and data teams gives a fuller view. A narrower assessment is also possible, with its scope and limitations made clear.
What do we need to prepare?
Choose the participants and arrange interview times. Existing brand plans, segmentation work or engagement dashboards are useful if you would like us to review them. There is no need to create new material for the interviews.
Who takes part in the interviews?
Usually three to five people across marketing, sales or commercial excellence, medical, digital or omnichannel, and data or IT. We agree the functions during the scoping call, and you choose who takes part.
Who sees the results?
We share the report with the sponsor who commissioned the audit. They decide who else receives it. We do not publish your results or identify your organisation in a market comparison.
What does it cost?
The Macro Audit is free. Your team provides time for the scoping call, interviews and debrief. Cost and time commitment is a few hours of your team's time for the interviews and an hour for the debrief.
How long does it take?
We deliver the report and debrief two weeks after the last interview. Allow about three weeks overall if the scoping call and interviews can take place in the first week.
Do we have to work with you afterwards?
No. You can act on the report internally or with your existing partners. If you would like our help, we will agree the scope and fee for any further work separately.
How is it different from the Foundation Fitness Audit?
The free Macro Audit gives you an initial assessment across the five foundations and recommendations on what to tackle. The Foundation Fitness Audit examines the priority areas in more detail. It is a separate, paid engagement with an agreed scope and fixed fee.
